Eagle's/SAYHA Summer 2009 Divisional Skates

(PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE FOR THE BENCH)

Once again this summer, Eagle's Ice-A-Rena and SAYHA will be offering weekly ice times for each division. These ice times are intended to…

-          Give kids something to do when school is out for the summer.

-          Give kids a chance to keep skating through out the summer and be prepared for the upcoming season.

-          Give the newly appointed coaches a chance to get familiar with the kids in the division they will be coaching in the 2009-2010 season.

-          Give kids a chance to get familiar with other players and coaches of the division they will play with in the upcoming season.

Other things to remember…

-          All ice times are at Eagle's Ice-A- Rena.

-          All ice times are $10 per player, payable BEFORE the player steps on the ice…

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE COLLECTING A HASSLE – Checks made payable to Eagle's Ice-A-Rena.

-          Please be in the locker room 20 – 30 minutes prior to our ice time so coaches can

Properly plan.

-          Players numbers will dictate what content is for that session, scrimmage, drills, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, etc.

-          Ice times are open to all players, both house and rep for that particular division.

-          Please attend ice sessions for your particular age group only. (For exceptions, please contact the SAYHA office at 327-7383, for approval)

-          Players from other associations are welcome

-          Only coaches who are USA Hockey carded coaches will be working the divisional skates.

All times begin the week of June 22nd and will end the week of July 27^th.

After the first six skates are complete, the schedule will change for the month of August. Everyone will be notified of those changes before the August session starts.

Summer 2009 – Divisional Skates

Beginning the week of June 22^th, 2009

 For 6 weeks through the end of July

New Schedule will be offered for August with the times to be announced.

MITES – 8 & under – (Birth year is 2001 & Above)

(The Mite skates are not for beginners. You must have played on a team last year to participate – for exceptions please call the rink office at 489-9303)

Tuesdays 5:45pm – 7:00pm – Rink 2

*There will be no skate on July 14 for the Mite Division

SQUIRTS – 9 & 10 year old – (Birth year is 1999 & 2000)

Tuesdays 7:15pm – 8:30pm – Rink 2

*There will be no skate on July 14 for the Squirt Division

PEEWEES – 11 & 12 year old – (Birth year is '97-'98)

Thursdays, 8:00 – 9:30 pm -  Rink 2

** THURSDAY JULY 30th SESSION WILL BE 6-7:30 pm**

BANTAMS & MIDGETS – 13 & older – (Birth year is '91-'96)

Mondays 8:00 – 9:15 pm – Rink 1

If you are a goalie, please call Kris in the SAYHA office at 327-7383 and let her know of your interest for the summer Divisional Skate. In order to have scrimmages, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, etc. we must have goalies for each divisional skate. If we only have 2 goalies, we may scrimmage; if we have 4 goalies, we might do cross ice 3 on 3. Tracy will give the goalies' phone numbers to the coaches for each division. They can then communicate with you about your attendance for each week's skate.
